Rockland operates it’s own school system for its students and allows high school students the option of attending the South Shore Vocational Technical High School free of charge. The town also has two private schools, Calvary Chapel Academy and Holy Family School. Rockland, MA is considered to be a safe town with crime rates below state and national averages. Rockland is close to Route 3 and is within an hour of Boston.
All in all, Rockland is a good place to call home and raise a family. As in all towns and cities, it’s important to identify a local real estate agent who knows the area if you plan on looking for a home here.
